What you will do

• Translate written medical and life sciences content from English into Korean while preserving the original structure, style, ideas, and facts.
• Research industry-specific terminology and resolve difficult content and translation instructions.
• Proofread translated texts for terminology, grammar, spelling, and punctuation accuracy.
• Update and improve glossaries, translation memories, style guides, and other internal language assets.
• Identify instruction gaps or external issues that could affect client commitments and support on-time, high-quality delivery.

Requirements

• Native Korean speaker with fluent English and fluency in the source language.
• At least 3 years of experience translating, reviewing, and editing life sciences content, including clinical trial documents.
• A university or tertiary degree in translation or linguistics plus at least 3 years of translation experience, or at least 5 years of translation experience without a university degree.
• Experience with translation management systems and computer-assisted translation tools.
