Temporary Manager (Retail)

Location: Hagerstown, Maryland, USA; onsite retail store role

Base pay: $16.00–$24.75 per hour

What you will do

• Lead the sales floor to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Represent hirify.global values, increase brand awareness, and implement company initiatives.
• Monitor and analyze sales data, identify trends, and recommend actions to improve store performance.
• Support recruiting, interviewing, performance evaluations, training, and individualized team development.
• Provide feedback and guidance, enforce company and store procedures, and maintain accountability for goals and KPIs.
• Support HR matters, conflict resolution, clienteling strategies, and a customer-centric store culture.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of equivalent experience managing in a competitive retail environment at Lead Supervisor level.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch, climb, kneel, and maneuver through the sales floor and stockroom.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Demonstrated customer focus, business acumen, leadership, collaboration, and drive for results.
• Ability to provide direct feedback, develop team members, build effective teams, and handle ambiguity.
