Accounts Payable Associate

Location: Monterrey, Mexico; hybrid work

What you will do

• Process 100–300 invoices per day, including PO, non-PO, intercompany, two-way, and three-way matching.
• Work with hirify.global employees and vendors to resolve invoice issues and reconcile outstanding balances.
• Ensure accurate approvals in accordance with delegation-of-authority requirements and SOX controls.
• Calculate use tax where required under local laws and process Mexican invoices, including CFDI and payment complements.
• Communicate with vendors, internal departments, coworkers, and management while supporting other accounts payable team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics; Accounting is preferred.
• At least 1 year of accounts payable experience, especially with PO and non-PO invoice processing.
• Advanced English proficiency required.
• Experience with Mexican invoice processing, CFDI, payment complements, and general SAT requirements.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Accuracy, analytical ability, initiative, multitasking skills, and a collaborative approach.

Nice to have

• Experience with JD Edwards, SAP, M3, or Esker AP workflow software.
• Manufacturing experience.
