AR & AP Accountant

What you will do

• Reconcile customer statements and prepare invoices for customers in Japan.
• Manage credit control, including blocking shipments for customers with overdue accounts receivable.
• Communicate with colleagues, customers, and intercompany customers to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
• Manage cash application by collecting bank statements and customer payment details.
• Prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports.
• Collect accounts payable invoices, process PO MIRO and non-PO invoices, and manage GRIR activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
• Professional communication skills in Chinese, English, and Japanese are essential.
• At least two years of experience in an accounting department.
• Experience working in an overseas enterprise.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
