What you will do
- Develop and maintain the Quality Management Plan across three Agile teams and five program objectives.
- Define acceptance criteria and validate deliverables against federal quality standards and CPARS evaluation dimensions.
- Test Wiz Federal DSPM configurations, GitLab CI/CD security gates, AWS reporting outputs, and ServiceNow remediation workflows.
- Validate Kubernetes admission controls, runtime scanning thresholds, security findings, SLA timers, exception workflows, and queue routing.
- Review technical documentation for accuracy, completeness, formatting consistency, and content-taxonomy alignment.
- Track defects and corrective actions, escalate quality risks, and integrate QA into sprint reviews and retrospectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience in QA, software engineering, IT, or a related field.
- Experience developing quality management plans and QA/QC methodologies for complex federal IT programs.
- Experience testing CI/CD security gates, cloud configurations, or ITSM workflow logic in a structured test environment.
- Ability to validate metrics and reporting outputs using AWS CloudWatch, AWS S3-backed reports, or SIEM telemetry.
- Proficiency with structured test case management, API testing tools such as Postman, basic Python or SQL scripting, and GitLab issues or boards.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting findings, defects, and corrective actions.
Nice to have
- Experience with federal cybersecurity, DSPM, data governance, or DevSecOps programs.
- Familiarity with Wiz, GitLab, ServiceNow, Netskope, Kubernetes security, or multi-cloud security tools.
- Knowledge of ATDD, BDD, definition-of-done checklists, automated test frameworks, or CI-integrated GitLab test stages.
- CSTE, ISTQB, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification.
- Experience validating Okta SSO/MFA role-based access behavior.
