National College Leadership Program

Location: Tampa, Florida, United States; trainees may be placed in hotel and venue locations across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Europe. Flexibility to relocate and ability to work at a hotel location within major metropolitan markets are required.

Salary: $54,999–$55,000 base salary, with potential bonus incentives after placement.

What you will do

• Complete a five-month Manager in Training program with technical, operations, and sales rotations.
• Gain hands-on experience in event venues alongside field leaders.
• Prepare for placement as an Operations Manager, Associate Producer, Director of Events, or Venue Sales Manager.
• Manage floor operations, service delivery, staff leadership, performance, and development in operations roles.
• Guide customers through event experiences and identify solutions that meet their objectives in sales roles.
• Support workforce, inventory, customer satisfaction, and event revenue management.

Requirements

• Four-year college degree with a BA or BS.
• At least one year of related professional experience or a combination of employment and internships.
• Strong interest in a management career with advancement opportunities.
• Excellent communication, listening, presentation, leadership, and customer-service skills.
• Technical aptitude and interest in new technology.
• Ability to work at a hotel location in a major metropolitan market and flexibility to relocate.

Nice to have

• Degree focus in hospitality, business or management, communications, event management, theater, or a related field.
• Experience in management, operations, technology, or hospitality.
