Service Manager (Bicycle Service)

Location: West Springfield, Virginia; onsite at Trek Store Springfield

Salary: $22.00–$27.00 per hour

What you will do

• Lead Service Center operations, including workflow, mechanic staffing, and performance KPIs.
• Advise customers, integrate sales and service interactions, and manage Service Department communications.
• Write more than 50% of the shop’s work orders and keep service orders organized.
• Train, motivate, and develop service employees and future leaders.
• Control service costs, review service reports, and identify operational efficiencies.
• Coordinate bicycle builds and deliveries while maintaining a clean, efficient department.

Requirements

• 3+ years of bicycle service center experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, listening, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to plan effectively and anticipate store needs.
• Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to support customers and colleagues during busy periods.
• Willingness to attend Trek Service classes in Waterloo, Wisconsin.
• Commitment to staying current with industry changes and trends.
