TL;DR
Lowrance Technical Support Intern (Marine Electronics): Supporting customers with marine electronics questions, installations, compatibility, and technical troubleshooting with an accent on remote diagnostics, CRM case documentation, and customer communication. Focus on solving equipment issues, coordinating service activities, and improving support documentation and product quality.

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States; hybrid office schedule. Seasonal schedule: May–August, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday.

Salary: $18–$22 per hour.

What you will do

  • Serve as a customer contact through phone and email, coordinating service activities and technical support.
  • Answer questions about product features, benefits, installation, and compatibility.
  • Perform remote troubleshooting using schematics and internal tools.
  • Document customer cases in CRM systems and analyze service trends.
  • Collaborate on training materials, service documentation, and product robustness improvements.

Requirements

  • Must be pursuing a degree at Tulsa University, Rogers State University, Oklahoma State University, or the University of Oklahoma.
  • Must successfully complete the 20-hour Navico Online Learning Academy training before consideration for the role.
  • Experience troubleshooting electronics remotely and applying effective problem-solving techniques.
  • Practical computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn internal systems.
  • Professional demeanor, strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills, collaboration, organization, and a solutions-oriented approach.

Nice to have

  • Active membership in a collegiate fishing team.
  • One year of experience installing, repairing, maintaining, or supporting marine or RV electronics.
  • Familiarity with the Lowrance HDS ecosystem.
  • ABYC, NMEA, or MEI certification, or an FCC license.
  • Bilingual Spanish and English communication skills.
