Relationship Banker (Retail Banking)

Location: Naugatuck, Connecticut, United States; onsite branch role with face-to-face customer interactions

Salary: $22.61–$37.67 per hour

What you will do

• Assess customer needs, identify sales opportunities, open accounts, and make appropriate referrals.
• Manage customer outreach, appointment preparation, meetings, follow-up, and onboarding.
• Present relevant banking products and services in cooperation with internal business partners.
• Provide branch servicing and help manage customer flow for retail and business customers.
• Apply KYC, CIP, fraud-prevention, audit, and operational risk controls.
• Maintain registration requirements under the Federal SAFE Act and support branch goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least two years of retail sales, call center, customer service, or telesales experience, or at least one year of proactive sales experience.
• Strong verbal communication, interpersonal, organization, time-management, and prioritization skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills and financial services product knowledge.
• Proficiency with internet user-level technology and standard communication tools.
• Ability to work onsite in an open, face-to-face branch environment and stand for extended periods.

Nice to have

• Associate degree.
• Notary public license.
• Bilingual abilities based on branch needs.
