Blending Operator (12hr Night Shift) (Manufacturing)

Location: Wheeling, Illinois, USA; onsite 12-hour night shift from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM

Salary: $28.18 per hour plus a $1.35 shift differential

What you will do

• Blend raw materials to supply dry and bottled process areas with work-in-process materials meeting specifications.
• Produce and change over products for packaging lines according to scheduled requirements.
• Perform raw material, product quality, laboratory, and routine process testing.
• Complete process documentation and data entry accurately and on time.
• Perform maintenance, sanitation, and troubleshooting for operational and quality issues.
• Train other Blenders and provide performance feedback.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience blending, mixing, or batching products.
• Ability to follow laboratory, safety, environmental, GMP, and food safety guidelines.
• Ability to use network computer applications and email.
• Strong interpersonal, multitasking, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including percentages for batch sizes.
