Manufacturing Engineering Group Leader

Location: La Crosse, Wisconsin; on-site five days per week

Annual base salary: $90,900–$164,675

What you will do

• Lead manufacturing engineering activities supporting plant operations, production processes, quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
• Develop process concepts, standard work, quality documentation, PFMEA, and manufacturing controls for components and finished products.
• Plan departmental resources and budgets, evaluate production capacity, and recommend capital investments.
• Lead the evaluation, selection, implementation, and run-off of capital equipment and manufacturing methods.
• Review new product designs and engineering changes for manufacturing and sourcing capability, including impacts on tooling and CNC programming.
• Lead cross-functional plant transformation teams, resolve supplier and process quality issues, and drive projects to measurable results.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• At least five years of related experience, including experience in a manufacturing plant environment.
• Demonstrated leadership of engineering projects and technical teams.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, engineering standard work, and BOS standards.
• Strong communication, change management, collaboration, and influencing skills.
• Ability to work on-site in La Crosse, Wisconsin five days per week.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in engineering.
