Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Thermal Spray)

Location: US-IL-Lombard and New Britain, CT

Salary: $85,000–$95,000 per year for the position based in Connecticut.

What you will do

• Improve current manufacturing process techniques and develop final processes according to customer specifications.
• Coordinate engineering projects related to manufacturing processes, including machine setup and equipment requirements.
• Evaluate processing methods, equipment capability, and liquid coating operations.
• Define and develop quality standards for receiving, in-process, and final inspections.
• Analyze complex in-process rejections and quality trends, implementing corrective actions.
• Resolve technical and quality issues with customers, vendors, and internal departments while supporting thermal spray processes.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, industrial, materials science, or mechanical engineering.
• Understanding of project management, with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Commitment to product quality and health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently.
