Reporter (Spanish Broadcasting)

Location: Phoenix, Arizona, United States; travel to nearby cities and other locations as needed. Work includes field reporting and flexible evening, weekend, holiday, and extended-hour coverage.

What you will do

• Investigate, produce, and report breaking news, developing stories, and major events in Spanish.
• Research, write, and edit scripts and broadcast content for network and streaming platforms.
• Deliver live reports and conduct interviews from the field.
• Collaborate with producers, assignment editors, photographers, and newsroom leadership on daily coverage.
• Use digital and social media platforms to support storytelling and audience engagement.
• Travel as needed and adapt quickly to changing news situations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Broadcast Communications, or equivalent experience.
• Fluency in spoken and written Spanish with strong English communication skills.
• At least five years of Spanish-language broadcasting experience preferred.
• Experience with live reporting, interviewing, news gathering, investigative research, scriptwriting, and broadcast storytelling.
• Strong on-camera presence, editorial judgment, public speaking, writing, research, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced newsroom.
