News Producer - Multimedia, Telemundo Arizona (Phoenix/Tucson)

Location: Full-time onsite at an hirify.global-designated worksite in Phoenix, Arizona; willingness to work in the Phoenix area and travel for special assignments is required.

What you will do

• Produce daily newscasts, special coverage, in-depth stories, and news content for broadcast and digital platforms.
• Select, assign, write, and organize stories in rundowns, including headlines, cold opens, teasers, and reporter lead-ins.
• Coordinate with newsroom staff, control-room personnel, field crews, and satellite remotes during live broadcasts.
• Respond to breaking news and contribute to coverage decisions, editorial meetings, community stories, and sweeps planning.
• Shoot, edit, and publish video clips across web, mobile, and social media platforms.
• Follow Telemundo journalism standards, complete discrepancy reports, and help prevent factual and production errors.

Requirements

• Fluency in Spanish and English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• 2–4 years of News Producer experience, with strong news judgment, creative ideas, and writing skills.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States and age 18 or older.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Availability for flexible schedules, nights, weekends, holidays, long hours, emergencies, and breaking-news coverage.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and travel as needed for special assignments.
