Anchor/Reporter, Telemundo T47 New York

Location: New York City, New York; full-time on-site at an hirify.global-designated worksite

Salary: $150,000–$175,000 per year

What you will do

• Anchor scheduled newscasts, breaking news coverage, and special programming.
• Report from the field through live shots, interviews, and packaged stories for broadcast and digital platforms.
• Research, write, produce, and develop enterprise stories and original story ideas.
• Cover breaking news, severe weather, major events, and community-impact stories.
• Write and edit content for television, streaming, digital, and social media.
• Collaborate with newsroom teams, build community sources, and represent WNJU at public events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, broadcasting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of television news experience as an anchor, reporter, or anchor/reporter.
• Fluency in Spanish, written and verbal, is required.
• Strong on-air presentation, live reporting, interviewing, writing, storytelling, and editorial judgment skills.
• Experience with breaking news, enterprise reporting, digital, streaming, and social media platforms.
• Must be willing to work in New York City, work full-time on-site, hold unrestricted US work authorization, travel throughout the New York Tri-State area, and work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours. A valid driver’s license and SAG-AFTRA membership are required.
