News Anchor, Telemundo T47 New York

Location: Full-time onsite at an hirify.global-designated worksite in New York, NY; candidates must be willing to work in New York City and have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.

Salary: $180,000–$220,000 yearly

What you will do

• Anchor daily newscasts and special coverage for Telemundo 47 New York.
• Deliver accurate, engaging coverage of breaking news, severe weather, and major events.
• Conduct live interviews and complete field reporting assignments.
• Develop enterprise stories and contribute ideas reflecting community interests.
• Create content for broadcast, streaming, digital, and social media platforms.
• Collaborate with producers, reporters, editors, and newsroom leadership while representing the station at community events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, broadcasting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of on-air anchoring and/or reporting experience in television news.
• Fluency in written and spoken Spanish is required.
• Strong live reporting, interviewing, ad-libbing, writing, storytelling, and editorial judgment skills.
• Experience covering breaking news, severe weather, and major news events, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States, be willing to work onsite in New York City, and be willing to join SAG-AFTRA.

• Experience generating enterprise stories, developing sources, and producing original content.
