Senior Consultant, CFO Advisory - Financial Services

Location: New York City, New York, United States; onsite at 66 Hudson Blvd E

Salary: $86,660–$164,300 per year

What you will do

• Support financial advisory projects covering US GAAP and IFRS advisory, transaction support, finance transformation, business analytics, and decision support.
• Help CFOs, Controllers, and Finance Directors improve financial reporting processes and create sustainable performance improvements.
• Support transactions including IPOs, SPACs, mergers, and divestitures, as well as internal-control remediation and regulatory implementation.
• Analyze financial data and develop recommendations for business owners, executives, investors, lenders, and other stakeholders.
• Anticipate client needs, present analyses to management, and participate in executive briefings.
• Contribute to recruiting, mentoring, professional development, client relationships, and additional service opportunities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience at a large accounting firm in audit or financial advisory within the financial services industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Current knowledge and practical application of US GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, with experience in complex quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Knowledge of accounting and finance tools and middle-market applications such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Intacct.
• Strong communication, organizational, multitasking, presentation, and client relationship skills, with the ability to work autonomously under tight deadlines.

Nice to have

• CPA or CMA certification.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
• Broader controllership, operational, or finance transformation experience.
