What you will do

• Review departments by identifying key risks and controls, developing audit test steps, documenting results, and evaluating control effectiveness.
• Evaluate management practices, business processes, operating controls, and control environments during audits and consulting or monitoring engagements.
• Analyze information to identify potential control weaknesses and prepare concise findings and recommendations.
• Discuss audit results with business units and communicate recommendations to partners at all levels.
• Monitor regulatory rules and industry changes, complete special projects, and follow the hirify.global Audit Methodology and department standards.

Requirements

• College or university degree and/or entry-level auditing experience in a financial institution.
• Knowledge of auditing in the financial services industry and basic accounting principles.
• Analytical and organizational skills for conducting audits.
• Report-writing and workpaper documentation skills.
• Authorization to work in the United States without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• CPA, CISA, CIA, ACA, ACCA, or another professional certification.
• MBA and demonstrated technical expertise in accounting, regulatory compliance, or related areas.
