Internal Auditor I

Location: Five days onsite at the Rolling Meadows, Illinois office. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $64,000–$73,500 per year, paid weekly.

What you will do

• Perform financial, operational, and compliance audit engagements for assigned areas.
• Identify risks, apply audit procedures, and evaluate the design and effectiveness of controls.
• Lead discussions to understand business processes, systems, and applications.
• Perform annual SOX 404 testing and communicate process-control effectiveness.
• Assist with audit reports and review processes while developing client relationships.
• Maintain professional conduct, comply with applicable ethical standards, and pursue relevant certifications.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in auditing, accounting, finance, risk, or business consulting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business discipline.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications and strong oral, written, critical, and analytical skills.
• Ability to identify patterns, assess risks, uncover issues, communicate findings clearly, and build stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to work onsite five days per week in Rolling Meadows, Illinois.
• Current authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Construction experience.
• Accounting skills.
• Knowledge or experience with AI.
• Progress toward or plans to obtain CIA, CPA, or another applicable certification.
