Senior Infrastructure Architect (Enterprise Observability and Automation)

Salary: $130,700–$205,200 USD annually, with additional bonus and/or equity opportunities for United States candidates.

What you will do

• Own the architecture, governance, roadmap, and operational stability of enterprise monitoring and logging platforms, including Datadog and Splunk.
• Lead monitoring platform migrations across more than 5,000 servers, covering architecture, agent strategy, data ingestion, deployment, and vendor coordination.
• Design multi-organization Datadog architecture with RBAC, SSO/SAML, secrets management, and cybersecurity compliance.
• Define standards for alerting, dashboards, observability data quality, ITSM integrations, and SNMP-based infrastructure monitoring.
• Lead incident escalations, root-cause analysis, remediation, platform evolution, and cost optimization.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity, identity, infrastructure, audit, senior leadership, vendors, and implementation partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure architecture, monitoring/observability, or platform engineering.
• Experience operating in large, complex IT environments with strong governance and compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of Datadog, Splunk or equivalent platforms, observability, ServiceNow, server and network monitoring, and agent-based or agentless architectures.
• Experience with Ansible, PowerShell, scripting, AWS, Azure, hybrid infrastructure, RBAC, SSO/SAML, secrets management, and enterprise security architecture.
• Knowledge of SOX compliance, ITGC controls, audit processes, change management, incident escalation, and vendor management.
