Senior Multi-Cloud Infrastructure and Security Architect

Location: New York, New York; hybrid contract role

What you will do

• Design and implement secure enterprise-scale multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure, with GCP exposure as an advantage.
• Build hybrid connectivity between on-premises systems and cloud environments, including IAM hierarchies, cross-account trust relationships, and organizational units.
• Architect and test high-availability and disaster recovery topologies with automated failover for critical workloads.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code repositories and secure CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Advise the cybersecurity organization on cloud infrastructure and support migration or extension of legacy workloads.
• Collaborate with network, systems administration, and security teams across the organization.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience designing, managing, and deploying infrastructure in Fortune 500 or similarly large enterprises.
• Hands-on production experience with at least two major cloud providers, preferably AWS and Azure.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking, including firewalls, load balancers, VLANs, proxies, VPCs, VNets, and transit gateways.
• Advanced automation skills and practical knowledge of cloud security frameworks and modern identity protocols.
• Strong proficiency in Python, shell scripting, and Unix/Linux systems.
• Ability to solve complex ambiguous problems independently and communicate effectively across technical teams.

Nice to have

• AWS, Azure, or CCSP certifications.
• Experience with Proofpoint, Fortimail, Sublime Security, or Abnormal Email Security.
• Experience with large-scale email broadcast platforms, compliance audits, monitoring, logging, or AIOps integrations.
• Experience mentoring senior or mid-level engineers.
