What you will do

• Design, build, and deploy AI applications for knowledge assistance, document processing, financial analysis, and multi-step workflow automation.
• Turn AI prototypes into maintainable production applications with usable interfaces, enterprise integrations, and clear operational ownership.
• Connect applications to approved enterprise systems and data sources with permission-aware retrieval, validated queries, controlled knowledge updates, and failure recovery.
• Establish automated software tests and AI evaluations for factual grounding, task completion, numerical accuracy, exception handling, and business scenarios.
• Implement secure deployment and operational practices, including access controls, human approval gates, audit logging, monitoring, cost management, and recovery procedures.
• Translate Finance stakeholder needs into requirements, architecture, estimates, and acceptance criteria while creating reusable components, documentation, and support runbooks.

Requirements

• Strong Python and SQL skills with ownership of production applications from technical design through deployment and ongoing support.
• Hands-on experience building LLM applications using retrieval-augmented generation, structured outputs, tool calling, and controlled multi-step workflows.
• Experience integrating enterprise APIs and data sources, including authentication, authorization, background processing, retries, timeouts, and failure recovery.
• Practical expertise in software and AI testing, Git, deployment pipelines, environment management, monitoring, and release procedures.
• Understanding of secure AI application design, sensitive-data handling, least privilege, prompt-injection risks, source attribution, and human oversight.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience, plus at least five years of experience in software engineering, applied AI, data engineering, or automation with production LLM delivery.

Nice to have

• Experience with Finance, Accounting, Internal Audit, or other control-sensitive functions.
• Experience with enterprise cloud AI services, Microsoft Graph, Dataverse, SharePoint, Copilot Studio, or comparable platforms.
• Experience building MCP servers, lightweight web applications, reusable services, or integrations with Salesforce, Tableau, and enterprise data warehouses.
