Software Developer III - AI Services

Location: Greater Seattle Area, United States. Employment requires U.S. citizenship or nationality, permanent residency, refugee or asylum status under export-control regulations.

Base pay for Washington applicants: $164,652.00–$230,512.80 per year.

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable, low-latency AI services for metadata generation, feature extraction, semantic search, knowledge graphs, recommendations, and natural-language-to-SQL capabilities.
• Develop and deploy autonomous agents, multi-agent orchestration frameworks, and LLM-powered workflows across Finance, Supply Chain, and other enterprise domains.
• Build vector database infrastructure, embedding pipelines, and retrieval strategies for conversational knowledge retrieval.
• Develop computer-vision, content-understanding, feature-extraction, and object-detection models using deep learning, transformers, and LLMs.
• Own features from estimation and architecture review through coding, deployment, measurement, and post-launch operation.
• Lead on-call rotations, root-cause analysis, observability improvements, automated testing, monitoring, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience focused on RESTful APIs and AI/ML applications in cloud and containerized environments, including AWS.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go and at least one AI/ML framework such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience designing and operating RAG pipelines with vector databases, embedding models, audio/video feature extraction, and retrieval strategies.
• Production experience building and deploying multi-agent systems, agentic AI workflows, or LLM-based applications.
• Knowledge of software engineering practices, LLM-assisted development, object-oriented design, algorithms, testing, operations, and source control.

Nice to have

• PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Experience with reinforcement learning, formal verification, safety-critical systems, or graduated autonomy.
• Experience building observability and audit systems for AI decision pipelines in regulated or mission-critical domains.
• Machine-learning or multi-agent-systems research publications and/or open-source contributions.
