Senior Benefits Specialist

Location: Plano, Texas, USA; routine or periodic travel may be required.

What you will do

• Support Senior Benefit Consultants, Vice Presidents, and Senior Vice Presidents with employee benefits client servicing.
• Manage fee and commission submissions, account operations, audit preparation, and client deliverables.
• Provide day-to-day client support, including resolving escalated claims, billing, and service issues.
• Prepare and present open enrollment materials for in-person and virtual meetings, including recorded content.
• Oversee assigned vendor implementations, participate in implementation calls, and track progress and expectations.
• Maintain the Benefit Account Management System and present open items during client status calls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or economics, or equivalent work experience.
• 2–3+ years of financial experience with thorough knowledge of employee benefits.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong to expert-level Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, communication, organizational, and independent decision-making skills.
• Must obtain and maintain an active Life/Accident and Health Insurance Agent License within one year.
• For required driving, an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record and minimum acceptable insurance coverage are required.
