ServiceNow Architect – AI Focused (Public Trust)

Location: Remote within the United States; work must be performed in the United States. Foreign locations and foreign IP addresses are blocked, and personal VPN connections are prohibited. The position is associated with Reston, Virginia, United States.

Salary: $119,323–$202,850 per year

What you will do

• Lead the implementation and optimization of ServiceNow Now Assist, generative AI workflows, virtual agents, intelligent automation, and predictive insights.
• Design, develop, and configure scalable ServiceNow solutions for federal programs.
• Build and maintain custom applications, workflows, business rules, UI policies, portals, and web-based user experiences using Service Portal and UI Builder.
• Collaborate with product owners and Agile/SAFe teams, participate in ceremonies, conduct code reviews, and maintain development standards.
• Support platform upgrades, patching, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution.
• Align configurations with federal security and compliance requirements and improve CSM knowledge enablement, taxonomy, and self-service experiences.

Requirements

• Current ServiceNow CSA and CAD certifications.
• Current ServiceNow CIS certification in ITSM, CSM, or HRSD.
• At least 2 years of experience as a ServiceNow Architect and 6 years implementing ServiceNow solutions.
• Must reside in the United States and perform the work in the United States.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust clearance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Now Assist and AI experience.
• Experience supporting federal government programs.
• Experience with Service Portal, UI Builder, user experience design, ITSM, or CSM modules.
• Knowledge of the ServiceNow data model, performance optimization, and DevSecOps-aligned Agile teams.
• Bachelor’s degree.
