Quality Lab Technician (3NL) - Dayshift

Location: New London, North Carolina, United States; onsite day-shift role

Salary: $41,600–$52,000 USD per year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus or role-based sales incentive plan.

What you will do

• Perform routine and non-routine testing of incoming raw materials and finished products against specifications, procedures, and test methods.
• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory, analytical, mechanical, and electrical testing equipment.
• Conduct melt flow, FTIR, DSC, mechanical, Critical Shear, and other required tests.
• Record, review, and communicate test results; identify and escalate deviations from specifications.
• Work with Production, Sourcing, and Quality teams to investigate and resolve material, product, and production quality issues.
• Support trials, new material evaluations, product designs, process modifications, shipment testing, Certificates of Analysis, and Bills of Lading.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One to two years of experience in laboratory testing, analytical testing, manufacturing quality, or quality assurance preferred.
• Basic mathematical and analytical skills, strong laboratory skills, manual dexterity, and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to follow written test methods and interpret reports, specifications, test results, and electronic information.
• Experience with Microsoft applications and ability to learn manufacturing systems, including MES and Blue Yonder.
• Ability to work in manufacturing and warehouse areas and use required PPE, including safety footwear and fall-protection equipment where applicable.
