Wknd QC Inspector - Day Shift

Location: On-site manufacturing quality control role; Friday-Sunday, 6:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.

What you will do

• Perform audits and testing of in-process and finished goods according to product requirement specifications.
• Coordinate shop-floor QC testing and visually inspect coated, slit, and converted materials for defects.
• Record test results in the Scapa ERP system and maintain product master files, QC documentation, and laboratory inventory.
• Issue nonconformance reports and supplier complaints for materials that do not meet specifications.
• Set up, maintain, and track the calibration status of QC test equipment.
• Support quality engineers and technicians with gage R&R, validation activities, continuous improvement events, and employee training.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma required; a bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of basic measurements, test equipment, and mathematics.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Availability for the Friday-Sunday, 6:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. shift and compliance with safety and attendance requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience in medical device or industrial manufacturing.
• Associate degree in chemistry, physical sciences, or a technical field.
• Experience with quality assurance or quality control for at least 2 years.
