Lab Technician (Packaging)

Location: Pewaukee, Wisconsin, United States; onsite laboratory and manufacturing work

What you will do

• Perform testing protocols and collect data in laboratory and manufacturing environments.
• Evaluate product performance and communicate findings through reports, charts, pictures, and white papers.
• Support new product development and joint development opportunities with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and other cross-functional teams.
• Maintain sample organization, housekeeping, and a safe work environment.
• Follow ISO quality procedures and processes.
• Guide other laboratory personnel and administer assigned programs.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Previous experience operating forklifts or powered industrial trucks.
• Basic mathematics and mechanical skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across functions.
• Ability to work safely in a safety-sensitive environment and be available outside normal work hours when needed.
• Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in science, mathematics, or engineering.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Product development experience in an ISO-controlled environment.
• Laboratory experience with general procedures and testing.
