Senior Civil Engineer (Energy Storage)

Location: United States; remote work with regular site presence, initially primarily in Texas. Travel domestically and internationally may reach 50%.

What you will do

• Lead the delivery of geotechnical, civil, and structural engineering for energy storage, generation, and data center projects on the Owner/EPC side.
• Support execution planning, estimating, concept-level site design, and Engineer of Record scoping and selection.
• Assess site conditions, foundation requirements, civil engineering challenges, and mitigation approaches.
• Develop scopes of work and review consultant and contractor bids for geotechnical, civil, and structural work.
• Support design management, design reviews, value engineering, and construction-stage reviews of submittals, RFIs, and NCRs.
• Provide site QA/QC support and ensure accurate civil as-built records and quality documentation at project close-out.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; a master's degree is preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant post-graduation experience in civil engineering design and construction.
• Extensive experience in foundation and structural design, site grading, and drainage design.
• Experience in the power industry and working knowledge of electrical grid requirements.
• Professional Engineer registration in the U.S. is preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%, including multi-day project site visits.
