Asset Manager (Energy Storage)

Location: Full-time onsite role based in Memphis, Tennessee, with listed locations in Southaven, Mississippi and Memphis, Tennessee

What you will do

• Monitor the real-time health, performance, availability, efficiency, temperature, alarms, and state of health of the Megapack fleet.
• Coordinate Tesla service tickets, field technicians, preventive maintenance, firmware updates, corrective repairs, and issue escalation.
• Own transformer maintenance planning and coordinate manufacturers, contractors, and maintenance execution.
• Lead the design and placement of operations and maintenance infrastructure, including access platforms, cooling, electrical tie-ins, and fire protection.
• Analyze performance data, identify degradation and optimization opportunities, and support commissioning and integration of new Megapack deployments.
• Maintain operational records, conduct inspections and post-maintenance validation, support root-cause analysis, and provide on-call assistance.

Requirements

• Experience coordinating OEM field service teams and managing vendor relationships in mission-critical environments.
• Experience with maintenance planning, asset management, and regulatory compliance for high-voltage energy infrastructure.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to drive issues to resolution under time pressure.
• Comfort working onsite in an industrial or data center environment with noise and industrial conditions.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and on-call support; ability to lift 25+ pounds and work at heights during site inspections.
• Position is subject to pre-employment and annual post-employment background checks.

Nice to have

• Direct experience with Tesla Megapack deployment, operations, and service processes.
• Background in data center power infrastructure or hyperscale energy management.
• Knowledge of transformer maintenance, high-voltage electrical systems, fire protection standards, and Memphis-area regulations.
• Data analysis experience with Python, SQL, or similar tools.
• Experience in 24/7 operational environments with on-call responsibilities.
