Data Engineer - Spanish Speaker

Location: Hybrid position in Cerdanyola del Valles, Spain, with 2 days per week in the office. Working hours are Monday–Thursday 09:00–18:00, with an intensive schedule on Friday.

What you will do

• Analyse ecommerce and customer data to generate business insights and support strategic decisions.
• Develop and optimise SQL queries across multiple tables and data sources.
• Build Power BI dashboards from scratch, including data modelling, DAX, and Power Query.
• Use Databricks, BigQuery, and Snowflake for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Define and monitor ecommerce KPIs and integrate digital, CRM, transactional, and other business data.
• Monitor data quality and communicate insights and recommendations to business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or similar roles, preferably in ecommerce or retail.
• Strong SQL skills, including query optimisation and work with complex data structures.
• Advanced Power BI knowledge, including DAX and Power Query, with experience building dashboards from scratch.
• Hands-on Databricks experience is mandatory.
• Experience with BigQuery, Snowflake, and Python.
• Fluent Spanish and good command of English.

Nice to have

• Experience with GrowthBook, Optimizely, or Azure DevOps.
