BI Developer (with German Language)

Location: Remote, hybrid, or office-based work available in Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and The Netherlands.

Salary: EUR 3,000–4,000 gross per month. Final compensation depends on experience, location, and professional growth.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain BI reports, dashboards, datasets, and data models.
• Translate business requirements into technical BI specifications and data visualizations.
• Develop and optimize semantic models and ETL/ELT processes.
• Implement data validation, reconciliation, quality checks, and performance improvements.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights.
• Support BI platforms in production, troubleshoot issues, improve reliability, and document BI logic and reporting standards.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a BI Developer.
• Strong knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI platforms.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL, including MongoDB and DynamoDB, with experience using relational databases.
• Understanding of star and snowflake data schemas, KPIs, metrics, and reporting best practices.
• Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or GCP data platforms and strong analytical skills.
• English at Upper-Intermediate level or above and German at Intermediate+ level or above.

Nice to have

• Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.
• Professional certifications.
• Experience with DAX, M Query, or similar transformation languages.
