Big Data Developer

Location: Remote from Buenos Aires, working for the Málaga Hub; CET working hours.

What you will do

• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize ETL and data transformation processes.
• Develop and maintain Apache Spark-based data pipelines and data integration solutions.
• Analyze and resolve data-related issues while ensuring data quality, reliability, and performance.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Translate business requirements into effective data solutions with technical and functional stakeholders.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies, DevOps, Continuous Integration, and Qlik Sense reporting solutions.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in data development and programming.
• Strong knowledge of ANSI SQL, Hive SQL, Spark SQL, or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of Apache Spark and hands-on experience with Scala, Python, or Java.
• Experience with Azure Databricks, Amazon EMR, Hive, Cloudera, or a similar Spark-based environment.
• Experience with Qlik Sense, Agile, Continuous Integration, DevOps, Git, GitHub, Sonar, and Nexus.
• English level: B2 or higher.
