Big Data Developer

Location: Remote position working for the Málaga Hub, with CET working hours

What you will do

• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize ETL and data transformation processes.
• Develop and maintain Apache Spark-based data pipelines within the Client Contribution platform.
• Contribute to data integration initiatives and ensure data quality, reliability, and performance.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve data-related issues.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Collaborate with technical and functional stakeholders, participate in Agile ceremonies, and apply DevOps and Continuous Integration practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in data development and programming.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, including ANSI SQL, Hive SQL, Spark SQL, or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of Apache Spark and hands-on experience with Scala, Python, or Java.
• Experience with Azure Databricks, Amazon EMR, Hive, Cloudera, or a similar Spark-based environment.
• Experience with Qlik Sense, reporting solutions, Agile, Continuous Integration, and DevOps environments.
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, Sonar, and Nexus, plus strong analytical, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills. English level: B2+ or higher.
