Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Location: US - Remote

Base salary: $160,000–$185,000 per year, plus a target annual bonus of 15% of base salary.

What you will do

• Lead the planning, design, and engineering of enterprise-level cloud infrastructure and platforms.
• Provide solutions for advanced and complex technical projects and business issues.
• Manage large projects and processes with limited management oversight.
• Determine technical approaches for functional-area challenges and improve departmental processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to establish strategies and processes.
• Coach, review, delegate work to, and provide direction for junior staff members.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of functional experience, including at least 5 years of position-specific experience.
• Advanced expertise in cloud computing, software, hardware, data structures, and communications technology across multiple platforms.
• Broad knowledge of the professional field and related functions.
• Ability to solve complex technical problems using advanced principles, theories, and concepts.
• Experience managing complex projects and influencing technical policies, practices, and procedures.
• A four-year college degree or additional relevant experience may be considered.
