Data Engineer (Software)

What you will do

• Design and build end-to-end data products within the SaaS offering.
• Develop solutions for predictive maintenance, sensor anomaly detection, asset monitoring, and energy forecasting.
• Build scalable data pipelines using modern cloud-native tooling and large-scale time-series datasets.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, domain experts, frontend engineers, backend engineers, and data engineers.
• Prototype and validate ideas quickly while translating ambiguous operational problems into structured engineering plans.
• Influence architecture, technical direction, product roadmap decisions, maintainability, and operational reliability.

Requirements

• Mandatory knowledge of PySpark and Databricks.
• Experience building real-world data products across data engineering systems, not only isolated pipelines.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and scalable data solutions.
• Ability to work with noisy and incomplete sensor data, sparse labels, uncertain signals, and evolving requirements.
• Pragmatic systems-thinking approach with the ability to communicate technical trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborative working style and willingness to challenge assumptions constructively.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of C#/.NET.
