Collectives Dealer (Investment Operations)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid working with at least 50% of working time per month in the office. New starters initially work full-time from the office.

What you will do

• Monitor STP dealing channels and manually place or manage exceptional fund trades.
• Execute Collective Investment Scheme trades within fund cut-off times and agreed service levels.
• Complete trade contracting, amendments, FX transactions, and Private Placing trades in line with procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Investigate and resolve dealing queries, discrepancies, reconciliation breaks, and operational exceptions.
• Coordinate with fund providers, transfer agents, custodians, counterparties, Platform Investments, and Market Settlements teams.
• Support fund setup, system testing, process improvements, operational change, and service continuity.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a front-office, middle-office, fund operations, or similar investment operations environment.
• Experience processing or dealing in Collective Investment Schemes and knowledge of the associated trade lifecycle.
• Experience working to fund cut-off times, operational deadlines, and service levels.
• Strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Good Excel skills and the ability to analyse and interpret operational data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage competing priorities accurately.

Nice to have

• Experience with custody clients, fund providers, transfer agents, or dealing counterparties.
• Exposure to STP dealing, trade contracting, reconciliations, exception management, or systems testing.
