Portfolio Finance (Repo Trading)

What you will do

• Manage and optimize financing for the firm's fixed income portfolio across repo, total return swaps, and other financing channels, with a focus on Europe.
• Provide traders and portfolio managers with financing market color, pricing analysis, and counterparty intelligence.
• Build and manage relationships with funding counterparties to improve pricing, increase capacity, diversify access, and support new markets.
• Support cash and collateral management, margin negotiations, P&L and cost allocations, and daily trading activities across global regions.
• Drive strategic funding initiatives, new procedures, funding structures, and process automation.
• Work cross-functionally with business teams, Risk, Back Office, and regional treasury teams on new business initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in STEM, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of buy-side or sell-side experience in repo trading, or in a technical or quantitative role supporting repo desks.
• Technical fluency in Python or another programming language.
• Strong understanding of short-term rates, money markets, fixed income financing counterparties, and financial resource constraints.
• Ability to build effective internal partnerships and external counterparty relationships.
• Reliable and predictable availability.

• Experience trading short-term interest rate products.
• Understanding of cross-asset financing.
