Working Student CI/CD Engineer (m/f/d)

Location: Munich, Germany; mobile working is possible, but the main place of work is Munich

What you will do

• Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Set up and maintain GitLab CI/CD runners and support migration from Jenkins.
• Standardize CI/CD processes and best practices across projects and development teams.
• Develop and maintain Python scripts, Docker containers, and Kubernetes-based deployments.
• Monitor pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and implement sustainable solutions.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related degree program for the full duration of employment.
• Proficiency in Git, GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Python.
• Knowledge of CI/CD principles and practices.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD runners; experience migrating Jenkins infrastructure to GitLab is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Availability for up to 20 hours per week during the lecture period.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Jira, Artifactory, OSA, SBOM, PDM, binary signing and encryption, Grafana, Vault, and Argo CD.
