2nd Shift Assembler/Tester (Fiber Optics)

Location: Onsite in Cleveland, OH; the role also references Highland Heights, Ohio.

Salary: $18.50–$21.00 per hour, plus a 10% second-shift differential.

What you will do

• Assemble fiber optic cables, transceivers, components, and complete units using hand tools, equipment, and fixtures.
• Inspect, clean, terminate, polish, test, and pack finished products.
• Take precision measurements and verify that assemblies meet customer specifications.
• Conduct functional tests, record pass/fail results, and set up, calibrate, and change over testing platforms.
• Troubleshoot and repair damaged or nonconforming assemblies.
• Handle materials safely in an electrostatic discharge environment and follow detailed drawings, procedures, and quality standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer-based work instructions or training in English.
• Ability to perform basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Quality-conscious approach, mechanical aptitude, and good dexterity.
• Access to U.S. export-controlled information is required.
