Manufacturing Operator 1 (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Salary: $17.05–$22.37 per hour

What you will do

• Perform assembly, testing, inspection, and basic troubleshooting according to documented procedures.
• Set up, calibrate, and perform routine preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Monitor processes, collect operating data, and make equipment or process adjustments within defined limits.
• Follow work instructions, safety requirements, gowning procedures, and contamination-control standards.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on tests, experiments, and process improvement initiatives.
• Support team operations by training and mentoring new technicians or operators when assigned.

Requirements

• Less than one year of related experience; no formal occupational training is typically required.
• Skills in cleanroom operations, communication, computer literacy, mathematics, statistics, and technical problem-solving.
• Manual dexterity and ability to handle small or delicate components, microscopes, precision tools, and measurement equipment.
• Ability to stand frequently, perform repetitive hand motions, and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to work the scheduled onsite shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.
