AI Product Manager - CLEAR Project

Location: Hybrid in Berlin, Germany; eligible duty stations also include the NRC Head Office in Oslo, NRC representation offices excluding Geneva and Washington, DC, approved Employer of Record countries, and other countries where NRC operates within ±2 hours of Oslo time.

What you will do

• Coordinate, sequence, prioritise, and roll out CLEAR's multiple products.
• Translate the initiative's vision into product priorities, requirements, and deliverables.
• Connect emerging research, technical development, and practical humanitarian applications.
• Align internal and external stakeholders around priorities, timelines, and product outcomes.
• Manage dependencies, remove delivery barriers, and oversee operational product development.
• Ensure digital solutions are useful to teams responding to humanitarian crises in the field.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of product management experience in technology, data, or digital transformation.
• Experience launching and scaling complex digital products from concept through implementation.
• Strong ability to bridge technical and non-technical teams and translate between user needs and technical solutions.
• Practical knowledge of Agile, APIs, cloud platforms, modern software development, product management frameworks, user research, usability testing, and human-centred design.
• Data literacy, including metrics definition, analytics interpretation, and data-informed decision-making.
• Experience with multi-stakeholder delivery, external suppliers, data science, machine learning, AI, data ethics, privacy, and responsible AI.

Nice to have

• Experience in humanitarian operations and understanding of field realities and coordination mechanisms.
• Familiarity with open-source licensing and digital public goods.
