Senior Backend Engineer (Java/Spring Boot)

What you will do

• Design, plan, and implement product and platform features in a small Agile development team.
• Build clean, scalable backend code using strong software engineering practices and architecture.
• Design simple schemas and interfaces, including RESTful APIs, for customer-facing features.
• Own implementations from design through test automation and documentation.
• Contribute to software framework, feature, and cloud infrastructure architecture.
• Deliver iterative product improvements based on feedback and metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, schema design, and sophisticated enterprise-scale services.
• Professional backend experience with Java, Spring Boot, MongoDB, and AWS.
• Experience with Agile methodology and the software development lifecycle.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Good written and spoken English skills.
