What you will do

• Define and execute the scientific strategy for next-generation drug discovery services.
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted design, predictive modeling, automation, computational sciences, and translational approaches.
• Provide scientific leadership across discovery programs while ensuring rigor and translational relevance.
• Support strategic client engagements, proposals, partnerships, and business growth opportunities.
• Represent discovery sciences with clients, collaborators, and industry stakeholders.
• Mentor multidisciplinary teams across biology, chemistry, protein design, pharmacology, translational, and computational sciences.

Requirements

• PhD or DPhil in a relevant life sciences discipline.
• 10+ years of leadership experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Proven success advancing discovery programs from concept through to clinic.
• Strong expertise in translational biology and pharmacology, with a track record in at least one major therapeutic modality.
• Experience applying AI, computational approaches, and data-driven decision-making in drug discovery.
• Collaborative leadership style combining scientific credibility, commercial awareness, and client focus.
