Senior SharePoint Developer (Microsoft 365)

Location: Remote within the United States; U.S. citizenship required. The role is associated with McLean, Virginia, and includes 0–10% travel.

Salary: $115,000–$125,000 annually, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Analyze requirements and translate them into technical designs, implementation plans, test cases, documentation, and support processes.
• Lead the SharePoint application lifecycle, including solution design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and defect correction.
• Develop and customize SharePoint 2016 and SharePoint Online sites, pages, layouts, lists, libraries, permissions, navigation, Web Parts, and SPFx solutions.
• Build and support Power Apps, Power Automate, Nintex forms and workflows, dashboards, request-tracking tools, and access-management solutions.
• Modernize legacy SharePoint sites and support SharePoint 2016-to-SharePoint Online migrations, including remediation and validation.
• Provide Tier II and Tier III support, Microsoft 365 administration, technical guidance, mentoring, and coordination across Jira, GitLab, and ServiceNow.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and Public Trust clearance eligibility are required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 8 years of hands-on SharePoint 2016 and SharePoint Online development and customization experience.
• Strong front-end development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and SPFx.
• Hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Nintex forms and workflows, testing, debugging, defect correction, and migration remediation.
• Experience with GitLab, GitLab CI/CD, Jira, ServiceNow, GitHub, and Agile delivery methods.

Nice to have

• Power BI experience with reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
• SharePoint Migration Tool, manual migration, site refresh, and legacy-solution remediation experience.
• Microsoft 365, SharePoint site collection, Teams, Entra ID, and Active Directory administration experience.
• Familiarity with AWS, Terraform, Docker, Splunk, enterprise deployments, and software lifecycle governance.
• Microsoft Power Platform or Microsoft 365 certification, such as PL-200, PL-400, or PL-600.
