Senior Manager - State Licensing and Regulation

Location: Chicago, IL, USA; hybrid schedule with four in-office days per week, Monday–Thursday

Salary: $80,336.75–$145,077.09 per year

What you will do

• Manage state regulatory and Board of Nursing approval processes for new and existing programs and campuses.
• Build relationships with state regulatory agencies and represent the institution in regulatory matters.
• Oversee applications, self-studies, reports, notifications, site visits, responses, and follow-up activities.
• Provide regulatory guidance for curriculum development, program changes, personnel qualifications, and academic policies.
• Advise faculty, staff, program leaders, Legal, Compliance, and Regulatory Affairs teams on accreditation and compliance requirements.
• Participate in mock reviews, self-assessments, institutional committees, and cross-functional workgroups; travel as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Master of Science in Nursing is preferred.
• 5+ years of teaching and/or management experience in higher education.
• Experience with assessment, accreditation, and regulatory approval processes.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with state agency personnel.
• Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, organizational, writing, editing, and computer skills.
