Senior Technology Product Owner

Location: Chicago, IL, USA; hybrid schedule with four in-office days per week, Monday–Thursday

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 per year

What you will do

• Define portfolio and product visions, prioritize backlogs, and develop short-, mid-, and long-term roadmaps aligned with business priorities.
• Lead and collaborate with Technology Product Owners, Digital Product Managers, architecture, engineering, service management, and other IT stakeholders.
• Ensure products are scalable, stable, performant, and optimized for user experience while capturing non-functional requirements and system enablers.
• Facilitate business process and product mapping sessions, assess dependencies and risks, and coordinate production deployment and post-implementation support.
• Manage vendor product roadmaps and upgrades while minimizing bespoke customization and improving the use of vendor-supplied products.
• Define success metrics, track KPIs and benefits, and coach Technology Product Owners through community and development initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 9+ years of Product Management, Product Ownership, or Technical Business Analyst experience owning products in an Agile, SaaS technology environment or equivalent.
• Experience working across multiple initiatives and approximately 10+ teams in an Agile environment.
• Proficiency in Agile Product Management, Business Analysis, and Business Process Mapping practices and tools.
• In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum, Kanban, ADO, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, stakeholder influence, vendor management, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• Certified Scrum Product Owner or related Product Owner/Product Manager certification.
• SAFe Scrum Master Certification.
