Manager, Software Engineering

What you will do

• Lead a small to mid-sized team of software developers and quality engineers.
• Set priorities, review work, allocate resources, and reinforce engineering policies and standards.
• Lead the design, development, delivery, maintenance, and support of scalable software applications.
• Guide software architecture and cloud computing activities.
• Improve development processes, tools, operational efficiency, application reliability, and delivery outcomes.
• Partner with users and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into resilient software solutions.

Requirements

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including translating user and business needs into software solutions.
• Ability to develop operational plans, allocate resources, influence stakeholders, and manage significant projects or processes within defined budgets.
• Strong knowledge of the software development life cycle, code quality practices, coding standards, application reliability, and continuous improvement.
• Experience designing and delivering scalable software systems, applications, or architectures for growing workloads.
• Experience managing technical professionals and leading software development work with a high degree of team independence.
• Current and future visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud-native architectures, generative AI, machine learning, intelligent automation, or AI-driven solutions.
• Knowledge of payment processing, including Wire Transfers, Fedwire, SWIFT, ISO 20022, settlement processes, and banking transaction lifecycles.
