Senior Manager, Engineering (Mortgage Technology)

Location: Hybrid onsite work three days per week from the Sharon, Pennsylvania or Jacksonville, Florida office

What you will do

• Lead multiple engineering teams across product development, platform initiatives, and technology modernization.
• Define engineering strategies, organizational goals, operating metrics, and performance expectations.
• Manage and develop engineers, engineering managers, and senior technical leaders.
• Drive roadmap execution, resource allocation, dependency management, release predictability, and delivery improvement.
• Partner with Architecture, Product Management, QA, DevOps, and Security on long-term technology strategies.
• Advance cloud adoption, platform engineering, automation, observability, security, scalability, reliability, and technical debt reduction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience and 5+ years of engineering leadership experience.
• Experience managing managers or multiple engineering teams and leading enterprise software development organizations.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, SDLC methodologies, Agile delivery, and modern engineering practices.
• Experience leading large-scale technology initiatives and cross-functional programs.
• Strong strategic thinking, decision-making, communication, and executive stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in mortgage technology, lending, fintech, banking, or other regulated industries.
• Experience with Microsoft .NET, C#, Angular, AWS, cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and platform modernization.
• Experience managing geographically distributed engineering teams and product development in SaaS or enterprise software organizations.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, AI-assisted development, and engineering productivity practices.
