Manager, Engineering (AI)

Location: Onsite three days per week from the Sharon, Pennsylvania or Jacksonville, Florida office

What you will do

• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers.
• Manage delivery of software initiatives, product enhancements, and modernization efforts.
• Partner with Product Management to define priorities, roadmaps, and delivery commitments.
• Guide architectural and technical decisions while promoting code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, and secure software development.
• Monitor team capacity, sprint execution, delivery metrics, and operational health; remove blockers and address delivery risks.
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, Product, Operations, Security, and Client Services leaders on continuous improvement and strategic planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 7 years of software engineering experience and at least 2 years of technical leadership, supervisory, team lead, or management experience.
• Experience delivering enterprise software solutions and managing multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, SDLC, Agile methodologies, and engineering best practices.
• AI-first mindset for software development.
• Strong people leadership, coaching, organizational development, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft .NET, C#, ASP.NET, Web APIs, and Angular.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and LLMs.
• Experience developing cloud-native applications with AWS, including microservices, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, infrastructure automation, automated testing, test-driven development, and enterprise security.
• Experience in mortgage, real estate, fintech, or financial services, or leading distributed or hybrid engineering teams.
