Policy Services Specialist (Insurance)

What you will do

• Prepare, issue, process, rate, invoice, and obtain approvals for insurance policies and endorsements.
• Maintain policy systems and documentation, ensuring policies and endorsements are issued accurately and within underwriting authority timeframes.
• Service premium-bearing and non-premium-bearing endorsements, including sign-off completion and invoice requests.
• Coordinate endorsement activities with Finance and Compliance.
• Assist underwriters with file reviews, enterprise coding, rating, underwriting narratives, statements of values, and loss control report orders.
• Participate in underwriting training to develop knowledge of the underwriting process.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in an insurance-related customer service role.
• General knowledge of ISO policy forms, including manuscript coverage forms.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word, with the ability to learn proprietary software quickly.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines under pressure and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Professional approach, solid work ethic, ambition, and ability to collaborate with people at all levels.
